Western style business hotel, convenient to station with good size rooms. Good standard and excellent service but not a Japanese experience!

Excellent location and good hospitality. Don't say the small room, this hotel has adequate space. Breakfast is good.

Great location, very close to Kyoto station. Clean room but average mattress. No wifi in the room. Long queue for breakfast or no queue for below average food.

Rooms are clean and beautiful and service is good. Hotel is next to Kyoto Station making travelling within Kyoto and to Osaka very easy. There are also many shops, eateries and big shopping center in Kyoto stations itself. Hotel has good buffet restaurant at reasonable price.

Very good relation price-quality. I will highly recommend either New Miyako hotel as well as Japanican for offering such a good prices!

Even though it was a non-smoking room the first night I could smell cigarette smoke coming from another room near me - and a lot of it, like there were many people smoking in one room. When I mentioned it at check out, the clerk just said "oh", and didn't make much of an apology or anything as if she wasn't surprised and didn't particularly care.
