Sustainable Hotels:
Stay in eco-friendly Hotels

Tokyo Station Hotel is located inside the Tokyo Station Marunouchi building, a nationally designated important cultural property, and is known as a ”Living Heritage” (cultural property that continues to be used). We are the first in the industry to start an advanced initiative in June 2023 that uses “CO2 Zero STAY®” provided by JTB Communication Design, Inc.(one of JTB Gourp Company) to virtually reduce CO2 emissions generated during lodging to zero.

Since opening in 2018, we have been participating in the Ministry of the Environment’s ”Regional Collaboration Low Carbon Hydrogen Technology Demonstration Project,” and approximately 30% of the hotel’s overall energy consumption is covered by ”hydrogen-derived electricity.” The hydrogen produced will be transported from the factory to the hotel, where pure hydrogen fuel cells will be installed. The hydrogen sent by this device undergoes a chemical reaction with the oxygen in the air, converting it into electrical energy.

In order to build a recycling-oriented society and prevent global warming, we are changing to dispenser bottles, making effective use of vegetable scraps, switching to LED lighting in the building, segmenting air conditioner operating schedules, and reducing water usage. We are doing the following. We are also implementing initiatives that we can advance together with our customers, such as reducing food loss and providing a CO2 policy and STAY plan.

Received all three Kyoto City environment-related certifications. Among Kyoto accommodation facilities, Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto is the only one to have achieved three certifications. The introduction of a garbage disposal machine reduced emissions by 73.6%, the conversion to energy processing at a biogas power generation facility resulted in zero incineration of garbage, and the entire building is supplied with natural water containing a well-balanced mineral content that flows through Kyoto’s underground water veins. We are actively supporting art and culture as a means of coexistence with the local community.

BLANC FUJI is a hotel that coexists with the nature, overlooking Mt. Fuji and adjacent to the clear Katsura River. In our villa-style rooms, you can spend a luxurious time “experiencing pressure-free moments by feeling the nature with your five senses'”. We also offer rooms with private saunas and open-air baths, and rooms with dog parks where you can bring your pets. You can enjoy wood-fired cuisines using seasonal ingredients from Yamanashi. We have completely restructured the traditional way of building and demolishing hotels, and developed our own mobile rooms, “Movilla,” enabling you to coexist with the nature. We offer a new accommodation experience where you can stay comfortably with boundary-free environment with the nature, even in the landscapes where architects are restricted.
